As a child, my love was dancing. I studied ballet, tap, and modern dance. At the age of 16 I went to dance college and also studied contemporary dance, choreography, dance notation and history of dance.
At the age of 18 I started attending aerobics classes and knew it was something I wanted to learn to teach. A few months later I was a qualified instructor and set up my own classes.
I then took a break from teaching for a few years and worked as a cabaret dancer in Tenerife for a while.
I returned to England and have been involved in the fitness industry since 1998 teaching a variety of classes including Aerobics, Step, Body conditioning, Circuit training, Studio cycling, Children's fitness classes, Mother & toddler classes, Children's dance, Body Jam, Body Combat, Latino Aerobics, Fitness hooping, Dance fitness, Fitness hooping, Seated fitness, Over 60s classes, Popdance Kids, Popdance Tots, Fitsteps, Clubbercise, RockFit, Buggy Bounce, HIIT
I have worked in many sports & leisure centres and private health clubs. I set up ENERGISE in September 2004 to bring group fitness into the community and encourage more people to exercise.
