 WHAT IS PILATES?

pilates [pronounced pil-ah-tees] is a series of slow, controlled movements suitable for almost everybody. It utilises both mental and physical techniques to train the body. Pilates focuses on strengthening weak muscles and stretching tight areas. It is also an excellent way to unwind and switch off from life's pressures.
